Molybdenum
Types of Molybdenum materials
Available from all major domestic manufacturers, as well as from suppliers in China, Europe and America.
Features of Molybdenum
1. What is Molybdenum ?
Molybdenum is a silvery-white, hard metal that is widely used as wire, ribbon, bar and plate in various fields, taking advantage of its high melting point, low thermal expansion coefficient and high thermal conductivity. It has a specific gravity of 10.28, a melting point of 2,620°C and a boiling point of 4,650°C. It is characterized by its extremely high melting and boiling points.
It has higher high-temperature strength than other high-melting-point metals, a low coefficient of thermal expansion and is a material with better workability than tungsten.
