Thank you for accessing our website. As it has been over a decade since our last renewal, it has been a little outdated. As such, our younger employees have taken the reins and helped us update our website.

Our company originally started in 1933 (8th Year, Showa) as "Miyazaki Shokai" near the Tachiaigawa area of Shinagawa, Tokyo as an electrical filament maker for lightbulbs. Over the next half-century, we have engaged in the manufacturing and sales of filaments for light bulbs and electrodes for discharge lamps.

However, with the market shrinking due to the transition to LED lighting during 2011-2020, we have worked to undergo a structural transformation. Thanks to the support of our customers and business partners, we have been able to evolve our business structure into a more balanced composition, including the lighting component business, industrial equipment component business, and consumer equipment component business.

Reflecting on our history, I believe that it is our continuous challenges towards innovation that lead us to where we are today. If there is one thing that has not changed since our foundation, it is our commitment to accompany our customers in creating new value, always striving to stay half a step or a step ahead of the times. Regardless of era, political, social and economical circumstances constantly evolving. We aspire to cultivate the mindset, capabilities and strength to turn challenges into opportunities, rather than letting them end in difficulties.

In recent years, we have been placing a strong emphasis on recruitment, and during interactions with students, the decline in interest among students towards manufacturing as a whole has stood out. I can understand where they are coming from too. I personally didn't have much interest in manufacturing during my student days either, which is why I see it as our company's mission to convey the joy of manufacturing and the importance of Japanese manufacturing to the world.

From the perspective of our customers' expectations, we acknowledge that we still have room for improvement. However, by returning to the fundamentals of manufacturing, honing our own capabilities, and striving to be even more helpful than before, we are committed to working together as a unified team to meet your needs.
